1. 日本の歴史を振り返ると、「独裁者」と呼べそうな支配者は織田信長くらいしか見当たらず、徳川家康を筆頭に、あとはみんな調整型のリーダーばかりです。だとしたら日本人は、大昔から権威や権力を嫌ってきたのかもしれません。

    もちろんこれについてはいろいろな解釈があるでしょうが、ひとつだけはっきりしていることがあります。

    日本に「強いリーダー」がいないのは、だれも望んでいないからです。これまで1000年以上にわたってそうだったのだから、これからもたぶんずっとそうなのでしょう。
